Day 5

After a long day, we have a lot to report! After breakfast, we continued working on the projects at the ALC - painting cabins, making cement, etc. A few got stung by bees, but were ok.

We regrouped over lunch and then went back to work. We regrouped again for dinner (burgers and fries!). We broke into groups after dinner and ran through the VBS plan for tomorrow.

Tonight was a night to unwind and have fun! We were surprised by visiting the Atlantis hotel resort! We walked through and saw the aquariums teaming of fish, sharks, sting rays, crabs, eels, and more!

Bahamas Junkanoo was quite the experience! It was a mini version of what they do to celebrate for New Years. Pictures will explain more than words. There are pictures of making cement and making a playhouse at the camp. Last pictures are of enjoying Atlantis tonight, primarily the Junkanoo.

P.S. The Adventure Learning Camp across the street has a big slide, but it is actually not a waterslide...just a big slide.
