Lost a Day, but on Track!

We arrived Monday morning at Sydney after our 17 hour flight from Houston. It is so different to travel in darkness for 16 of the 17 hours as we went against the earth's rotation! And we lost Sunday crossing the international date line. Finally got to Cairns by mid afternoon Monday, after 30 hrs total travel time from Cleveland. Settled in our lodging, Tree Tops Lodge, which is run by Wycliffe & Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF). We were all dragging by late afternoon. We'll stay here a few days to get over some of the jetlag before going over to Port Moresby , PNG. Met up with a former Wycliffe staff member, Cathy Krekel, who flew in from Chicago. We'll fly over together for the dedication and for our time at Ukarumpa.
